Today’s Assistant is known as Today’s PA in the United Kingdom.

Today’s PA was voted “Best Assistant Training Provider” seven years in a row in the PA Voice Awards, reflecting the views of thousands of Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, secretaries and office professionals from across the UK.  

To win seven years in a row is incredible.  It’s amazing to be recognised by our wonderful clients, and we’re immensely grateful to everyone who voted for us.  The impact of the awards is still being felt, raising the profile of Today’s PA to new heights. As a small business, competing with larger, more established companies, we play to our strengths: flexibility, attention to detail, and a caring, personal service.

My vision for Today’s PA was create training courses relevant to the modern workplace, helping PAs embrace office technology to save time, become more organised, and achieve a greater life/work balance – something that still shapes everything we do. We pride ourselves on meeting – and exceeding – our clients’ expectations, and always ask for (and receive) detailed feedback from our delegates.  If you’ve been on one of our courses, you’ll know how important this is to us.  We take on board everything said, adjusting and fine-tuning where necessary.

Our pre-course questionnaire gives us an insight into your working style and how you view your assistant role, and by starting each course with a brief discussion on what you want from your training, we can adapt the session accordingly.  It is this flexible, tailored approach that sets us apart from our competitors.

Those of you who have attended our courses will know that we believe in creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. This facilitates learning and encourages PAs to discuss ideas among themselves, sharing information and solutions to problems.  As our trainers are themselves former PAs, it means everyone in the training room can understand and empathise your daily workplace pressures and challenges.

All of this has been part of Today’s PA’s philosophy from the beginning.  We see the Members’ Voice Awards as a real recognition that our approach – offering first-class training in an informal setting (and making it fun) – is the right one.  It also recognises our commitment to our PAs: to give you the skills and knowledge needed to do your job to the best of your ability.

But we’ve never been ones to rest on our laurels!  As ever, we’re continuing to expand our training calendar, developing a new range of programmes in our most popular courses, and our Today’s PA conference is now a regular diary-date for over 100 assistants and executive assistants each year.

It has been an honour and a privilege to meet so many wonderful assistants over the past 12 years, and we’re hugely indebted to you all for your support and encouragement.  We could not have done this without you.
